Decothane is successfully tested to DD ENV 1187 : 2002, Test Methods 1, 2 and 3. DD ENV 1187 : 2002 is a European roof test standard, published by the BSI, for external fire exposure to roofs. All three parts of DD ENV 1187 : 2002, together with BS 476 : Part 3 and FM approval, represent the most stringent fire testing in the world”.

“Liquid Plastics has achieved European Technical Approval (ETA) on its key liquid waterproofing systems, positioning these systems at the forefront of the roofing industry. The CE mark on packaging identifies these systems”.

“This test method is for spread of flame, where the membrane is heated to +400°C. and an ignition source is applied to measure the spread of flame. Decothane is successfully tested to BS 476 : Part 3, achieving an F.A.A. fire rating”.
